Steel was the most recent member to our family! He turned one on May 9th and was hit by a car in Tooele on March 18th. We had to finally say good bye to our best friend on Aug 28th. He had shattered his femer into 9 pieces and went through a tough surgery and months of recovery. He wasn't healing properly and some how, probly wrestling with koda, he rebroke his leg and was not fixable! He will be missed by all of us and I know some of you are thinking "he is just a dog" but he was more than that. He would always follow Ryker around and wouldn't let anyone to close to him unless he knew what you were doing. He loved to play with Ryker! He was attached to Zane's hip and would always be right under your feet! He loved to go in Zane's truck! Right after his surgery we went to pick him up at the hospistal and when we finally got him out side he saw Zane's truck and tried to run to get in! He was my big cuddly dodo! Really he sometimes didnt seem so smart! He loved to have is tummy rubbed! He was always needing attention! He loved to play with Koda! They would always be wrestling! Even after his accident he was always so happy and we didn't get to keep him around as long as we would have liked but he was able to hold on for 6 more months! I would say the hardest part off all of this was trying to explain to Ryker what happend. He still asks "where Stee?" Or "Stee come home?" He diffinatley will be missed!

Oh Shell. :( He was such a good dog. They are not just dogs, they are part of the family. I love you and I'm sorry you guys had to lose such a good family member.
Shell, I had no idea. I'm SO sorry. He was such a sweet dog and I can't imagine how hard that must have been for you guys. At least you have good memories with him and you know he's not hurting anymore. LOVE LOVE LOVE you guys!
Poor Steel, He would have been a good Stud. Don't worry I know some one who will have lots of little puppies in a couple weeks that would be a great addition to the family.
